HOW TO | FIND MOTIVATION

I think it's safe to say that all of us at some point or another cannot find an ounce of motivation no matter how hard you try. Whether it be to get a blog post up, do school work, work out, or to finish a job you've been meaning to for a while, it happens to us all.
With this, I thought that I would give my top 3 tips and tricks that I've been using over the years to help me find both motivation and inspiration.

1.  Pintrest
While this sounds distracting and for me some of the time, is. It works a treat. Need inspiration for a blog post? Search up some ideas that relate to your blog and create a board all about it. For me personally, I love to pin quotes. It helps motivate me as it puts things into perspective and clears my head. I really recommend trying it out, it might just work for you like it does for me.

2. Working Out
This for most is probably the least appealing idea. It used to be for me too until recently when I've finally started working out regularly. It releases endorphins, and endorphins help. For me going for a run only makes me more inspired and motivated to work out more and really helps to clear my head. & we obviously can't forget the health benefits!

3. Netflix Binge
This is the exact polar opposite to the tip above and is most likely a lot more appealing to you but it is equally as important to remember to allow yourself time to relax. Most of the time I put work off till later because I find myself too stressed thinking about the amount I have to do, to do any! So, because of this I decide not to stress and instead relax for a while. I set an amount of time to watch Netflix (at the moment it's Grey's Anatomy!) and stick to it. Sticking to it is the hard part but if you do, this method really does help.

I really hope that these three top tips that help me help you too. I'd love for you to let me know if they do!
As a side note, if you fancy checking out my Pintrest click here. & also I'd like to say thank you to everyone that both follows and reads my blog. I'm so grateful and astounded at how quickly it has grown. In order to show my appreciation I'm thinking of doing a giveaway when I hit 500 followers and would love for you to let me know what you would like to see in it!

WISHLIST | ASOS

This both lovely and affordable top that retails at £12.00 comes in three different colours (this one being my favourite) and could be styled perfectly with a dark denim jean. The long sleeves make it ideal for winter, although with the Bardot neckline a scarf might be a good idea!

This comfy sweatshirt from Nike that retails at £45.00 is also ideal for the cold months. With it being Nike it means it comes with a steeper price than other similar sweatshirts that can also be found on Asos at a much lower price, but if you're shamefully a bit of a brand girl like myself and don't mind paying the extra then this sweatshirt is ideal!

These light wash jeans from River Island that retail at £42.00 could be paired with just about anything you have in your closest. The versatileness of them make the price worth it, as well as that with jeans I always believe that in most cases you get what you pay for. For me that means repeat purchase of Topshop's famous Joni Jean. The stylish 'Busted Knee' adds to the look of these jeans and would help finish any look off nicely.

This beautiful wrap blouse from River Island which retails at £34.00 is to die for! It would be perfect either for more casual outfits, for example paired with the jeans which I speak about above or you could even dress it up to be suitable for going out. This top might just be in my basket ready to order!

Hope you've enjoyed & let me know if there is anything you've personally been lusting for over on Asos!
Have a lovely weekend!

TAG | LIEBSTER AWARD

I was so happy when I got one nomination but as I write this post I have eight nominations! I'd just like to thank you all for nominating me it's much appreciated!

The blogs I'd like to nominate are:
Emily & Han xo
A Room of Wonders

The Rules
Acknowledge the person who nominated you.
Answer the questions given by the person who nominated you.
Nominate bloggers and notify them.
Give them 11 questions to answer.

It might be a bit much to answer all 88 questions I've been nominated to do so from each set I've chosen a random couple to answer. There might end up being a few more than 11 questions by the end but regardless I hope you enjoy!

1. What is your favourite childhood memory?
The list is quite literally endless but if I had to pick I would say going abroad on so many holidays as a child with family & friends is near the top of the list!

2. What is one thing you wish to achieve in the future?
To win the lottery! Realistic? Not at all!

3. What is your favourite emoji?
Probably the sassy '💁' (if you don't have a mac and can't see it it's the brown hair girl sticking her hand out!)

4. What is your favourite movie?
When I was young all I used to watch was '50 First Dates' but now I don't really have a 'favourite' although recently I have watched the new Annie 4 times so I guess that's something!

5. What inspires you?
A lot of things inspire me, I thrive off of motivation and inspiration but if I was to single out one thing it would probably be how strong of a family I'm lucky enough to have. It's a blessing.

6. What is the one quality that you would want to be remembered for?
Both having a sense of humour & being as generous as I possibly can.

7. What do you value most in a persons character?
Similar to the question before, a sense of humour. Laughing is literally my favourite thing to do.

8. What is the last picture you took of?
My mum got out an old photo album of a NYE in France when I was young so I was took a photo of one to put on Twitter!

9. What is one of your pet peeves and why?
I have a few fair few but up there is drivers who drive way below the speed limit when not necessary. 20mph in a 40mph zone isn't okay!

10. Who are your style icons?
Although I can't afford their style it has to be Kim K, Kendall & Kylie Jenner. I'd die to have their closets!

11. Favourite holiday destination?
A beautiful skiing resort somewhere in the mountains!

12. Night In or Night Out?
Majority of the time I think Night Out would win. Can't beat a night out with my favourites!

13. What quote is your favourite?
Anything Blair Waldorf has ever said!

In order to not make this post extraordinarily long for the people I've nominated answer the selection of questions I've picked out of the 88 asked!

Hope you've enjoyed finding out a bit more about me & thank you for reading!

Have a lovely week xx

HOW TO | ORGANISE MAKE UP

Since I started getting into make up my collection has only grown. I can only imagine the size it would be if I had literally no self control. Luckily I have just enough to sometimes stop me purchasing more!
Seeing as I feel we all know the pain of having all this makeup and running out of room to keep it I thought I'd show you all how I manage to store both my make up and brushes.

Firstly, I used to keep it all in an over crammed make up bag, this was never really convenient as every time I wanted a specific product I'd find myself emptying the whole bag!

A solution for this was this set of draws. They're perfect seeing as their clear meaning I can easily find whatever product I need. They also hold just enough products that I use on a regular basis. I got these particular draws over a year ago now so I can't find these exact ones but there are many similar online!
For my make up brushes which also seem to grow at a ridiculous rate I purchased the cute little pots from Hobbycraft which is local craft store for roughly £1.99.

Both options are affordable and perfect for storing your make up.
I hope this helps & let me know any other tips and tricks you might have to storing makeup and makeup brushes!

PLAYLIST | JANUARY 15'

The only thing I change more than my mind is the music on my playlist. I dedicate a lot of my time to finding new bands and artists whom I love. My music taste is a bit of a roller coaster ranging from the band Rhodes to my all time favourite Kanye West. I like to think I listen to practically every genre out, although I somehow think that might not be true.
Anyhow, I figured that I would share my current favourites that I have on repeat!

KANYE WEST - ONLY ONE

AQUILO - LOSING YOU

LO-FANG - YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT

NICKI MINAJ - THE PINKPRINT (THE WHOLE ALBUM)

Here are a few of my current favourites. Is adding the whole of Nicki Minaj's new album cheating a little? Opps, when faced with having to chose one song it was next to impossible, the new album is just too good!

Hope you all have a lovely week!

TAG | THIS TIME NEXT YEAR

After vanishing from the blogging world for a year I've finally decided with the new year it's time to get back into it & I figured that the best way to do so would be to answer these questions from the 'This Time Next Year' Tag that Emily tagged me in!

1. What was your biggest achievement of 2014?
I'd say that my biggest achievement in 2014 was passing my driving test. It took me three gruelling attempts but I finally got third time lucky and passed with no minors! It even made my driving instructor cry!

2. What do you want to achieve with your blog by this time next year?
Firstly not vanish for another year!! Secondly, I'd love to be at a point where I can do giveaways for my followers because I love to see it when bloggers give back like that.

3. Name one thing you want to do next year that you can tick off your bucket list
This is a tricky one seeing as I'm planning to do so much, but I think that at the top of the list it would have to be going on road trips with my best friends. It's something we've dreamed of doing for years so this next summer will definitely have a few lined up!

  4. What are you most looking forward to next year?
Similar to the last question...travelling!! I cannot wait to be able to do more of it! May is looking particularly promising because I've booked to go to New York with my sister and cousin which is sooo exciting!!

5. Your happiest moment of 2014?
Ooo, it's hard to pinpoint one moment but I would say that I was at my happiest when on holiday in Malta in June. It was so beautiful.

6. What New Year’s resolution are you actually planning on sticking to?
I haven't really set any specific resolutions to stick to this year seeing as through previous experience I literally don't stick to them. So now and days I just see it as an opportunity to better myself as a person both in health and as a person overall.
As a side note this post I saw on Tumblr the other day is really quite inspiring and helped motivate me to make 2015 a good year! (click here to see it)

7. A personal goal for next year…
I'd love to work more on my self esteem and become happier with myself. Especially seeing as I officially start Uni this year (eeeeek!).

Hope you've all had a great start to 2015!
